Achieving a high mitotic index and consistent spreading when preparing slides can be a real challenge for cytogenetic laboratories. The correct climatic conditions and concentration of the suspensions are all important to produce consistent results.
The MetaPrep system allows the cytogeneticist full control over climate conditions and cell density for reliable and repeatable slide preparations. It accomplishes this by performing the slide dropping in a nested chamber with optimal airflow at the correct temperature and humidity, within a larger climate controlled cabinet.
